Lectron were established by founder Deon Visser during the early months of 1980, it all started from a few designs of commercial pool tables in a notebook for arcades to very sophisticated snooker and pool tables for homes. The demand for home pool tables with a dual purpose became obvious and Lectron designed the first ever "dine convertible pool table" in South Africa. This was only the beginning and many other designs followed with a range of over 50 in different sizes and still growing as Lectron custom built Traditional, Classic and Contemporary designs to your individual specifications using the finest woods, metals and laminates.

Lectron has further added some patented designs which include pool tables with matching two piece dine tops and unique foldaway storage racks Pat.No. 2004/2574 to store the dine tops underneath the pool table instead of leaning against the wall, also Multi-Piece Table Top with inserts to prevent spillage Pat.No. 2006/01346 (available dine reversible table tennis tops)

Each pool table can be made in a variety of sizes, starting off from our standard 1/3 size pool table, up until a full size snooker table.

Lectron also manufacture a range of pool/dining tables as well as soccer, poker and table tennis tables. To accompany our pool dining tables, Lectron also design and manufacture dining chairs.
